The first thing we did when we got to Park City was head to the outlets. We were going to go to the Alpine Slide, but it was a little bit cloudy and we didn't want to be on our way to the top of the slide when a storm hit, so we decided that we would wait until the next morning. After an afternoon of shopping, we checked in at our hotel and then we headed to the Baja Cantina for dinner.
It was delicious as always! So fun that this restaurant is right below the Park City Mountain Resort.
After dinner, we went to the pool at the hotel and after Keldrie had worn herself out, we rented a movie from the front desk of the hotel and then watched it together. Kel picked Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure. We snuggled on the couch and watched it together. Russell went to sleep about half way though the movie and then Kel went to bed right after the movie was done. She was a good girl.
The next morning, we walked out the front door of the hotel and to breakfast. The restaurant was called the Corner Store and it was delicious! Even though Russell did tip my water over onto my lap. Lucky it was a warm day and I dried off quickly.
After breakfast, we headed over to the slide and Keldrie and I went down together!
After Keldrie and I had gone on the slide, Matt left to go try out the Coaster they have up there. He has a blast on it. While we waited, Keldrie rode the Merry-Go-Round....
...and the airplanes....
...and the Train!
My beautiful babies! They are both getting so big so fast!
Before we headed home, we had one more place to visit that is an absolute must! The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! Carmel apple with M&M's for me and Truffles for Matt. Keldrie got White Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows, which I didn't get a picture of before she ate them.
And do you see that hotel right behind the lift? Yeah, that's where we stayed! Awesome, huh? It was wonderful and a better deal than I could ever hope to get again, so we were glad to have gone!
Next up, maybe I can blog about the 4th and 24th of July before the end of August!
