So last week, our baby boy hit the half way mark to his first birthday. Seems like only yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital and now he is my active, playful, love-y boy.
Unlike Keldrie, Russell is my snuggle buddy. He loves to be snuggled and to "hold" my hands. Russell is fascinated with everybody's hands and you can often find him staring at either his own or someone else's hands. So much fun!
He is a good eater. He so far hasn't rejected any of the food I've given him. He just eats it up!
He has since graduated from the Bumbo chair to the real high chair and loves to play up in it while the rest of us eat togeher. He is also getting good at holding his own bottle, but I often times just have to hold him while he eats. It's too much fun!
Today was Russell's first time in the big boy bath tub! He is sitting up all by himself now so he got to say good bye to the infant tub and he was beyond excited to splash away in the big tub. He did knock himself off balance a couple of times with how hard he was splashing.
Russell will be crawling very soon. He gets up on his hands and knees and then up to his toes and scoots himself forward. He can get where ever he wants these days. Yesterday we bought some gates to protect that little trouble maker. Keldrie thinks that she is something special because she gets to have the gate moved and Russell has to stay behind.
Right now my pleasant boy is just rolling around in front of me and is plenty happy with a smile from me from now and then. I'm so in love with him! He is the second man in my life!
Love you little Fella!
