Ward Halloween Party

Wednesday was the ward Halloween Party! It was such a blast. When I was growing up, we were never allowed to have a Halloween party. We had to have a harvest party. This had to do with some people in the ward believing Halloween was a pagan holiday, blah, blah, blah.  After doing both, the Halloween party is better. It is so much more fun to have the kids in their costumes. And that seemed to be the only real difference.

Keldrie was so excited to put her costume on! And once she was all ready, we had a bit of a fashion show!

TRICK OR TREAT!!!

Time to put on our shoes!

The costume is a hand-me-down from Keldrie's only older girl cousin, Julia. Isn't it cute?

After our fashion show, it was time to head to the church for the party.

This game was "Shoot the pumpkin in the nose with the nerf gun".

Pumpkin bowling!

And this was the cake walk. Or rather, the cupcake walk. This was Keldrie's favorite game and she did it three times. And picked out the exact same 3 cupcakes even though there were some very fun different ones. No, she wanted to plain chocolate with orange frosting. If you can call it frosting if you can see through it to the top of the cupcake. Matt was quite disgusted he couldn't talk her into the one with the inch and a half of frosting on top. Oh well. She was happy with it!

And that is all the pictures I have for you. It was tons of fun, even if we only stayed 45 minutes of the two hour party. Keldrie was having trouble staying nice and waiting her turn. She is now even more excited for the actual big night of Trick-or-Treating.

Hope everyone has a great Halloween weekend!
