Yesterday I really wasn't feeling well, but luckily for me, it was Matt's day off. Matt took care of feeding Keldrie and letting me rest as much as possible. He even took Keldrie to the park for about an hour so I could have some complete quiet.
Being the guy he was, when I asked him to take some pictures for me, he said sure and he came back with some good ones. Here's Keldrie at the park:
Oh yeah, since I wasn't feeling well, no one did Kel's hair. So here's what she looks like when she's only had her hair brushed.
She has a favorite slide that she went down over and over. Matt took pictures of each step of the process.
1- Climb the stairs
2- Cross the bridge
3- Sit down, carefully
4- Begin to slide
5- Here's the tricky part! Almost there
6- All done! Did you see that?!
Today I'm feeling closer to better than sick, so I guess I better go get the housework done that got neglected yesterday. It's no fun being a sick mommy, but luckily I have an awesome husband who was there to pick up the slack!
I remember thinking before I had kids how nice it would be to be a stay at home mom and be sick. Not having to call in sick to anyone, nobody to answer to just lay on the couch all day. Please!! Could that be further from the truth, there is no such thing as a sick day with kids.
