Keldrie's 2nd (but really first) Easter

Here is Keldrie coming out of our bedroom Easter morning after the, uh, Easter bunny finished up with her basket. She didn't know why we were so excited but she quickly noticed the new thing in the family room.
So here is Kel's first Easter basket. No candy this year, just a bunny and a set of toy car keys complete with emergency alarm, garage door opening, and horn button.  She really didn't care too much about the bunny, but the keys sure were a big hit.
Here Kel is examining her new toy right after daddy got them open for her. After that we enjoyed a quiet morning with a really big breakfast of eggs, bacon and pancakes. After that we watched conference, of course. At least we tried to watch conference. Keldrie did make that hard. At about the mid-session hymn, she started to rub her eyes and she was quickly put down for a nap. After that, listening was much easier. By the time the second session was starting, Keldrie was up and running again. It is a good thing that there is a conference Ensign becasue we did not manage to learn much durning the last session. Matt did notice that one of the talks was about mothers and so let me watch it in quiet as he distracted Keldrie in the other room. He does such thoughtful things like that.
After that we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Smith's house. We were the first ones there and I was able to help Elaine finish cooking things. I forgot my camera, so alas, there are no pictures of any of this. After dinner at Grandma's, we had an Easter egg hunt. The dads got to hide the eggs and then the grandkids got to search for them. Keldrie understood the concept of finding the eggs, however she couldn't figure out why after she picked one up, Dad would take them from her and put them in the basket. She would begin to throw a fit, but then Matt would distract her by pointing out a new egg. She wasn't very good, but lucky for her, Grandma Smith made sure everyone got an even amount.
When we got home, we took the basket upstairs and and got Keldrie ready for bed. This morning, the day after Easter, I cleaned up the apartment and when Keldrie showed interest in the eggs in her basket, I took all the candy out of them so she could play with them to her hearts content. Or at least I thought I had. A few hours later, as I was picking everything up and going from room to room, I heard a quiet, "Yummmm," Those of you who have spent a lot of time with Keldrie know she is a very vocal and noisy eater.
This is the face that immediately began to run away when she noticed she had been caught. She had found a miniture Reese's in one of the eggs and had managed to unwrap it and get the whole thing in her mouth. Surprisingly enough, this is the only mess she made, and her face is very easy to wash. The wrapping was still all in one piece. One thing is for sure, this little tyke isn't dumb!
