The third, fourth and fifth of July!

Matt got off work at 3pm on the 3rd. To celebrate his little vacation, I arranged for my little brother to come and watch Keldrie so we could go to the movie! Sure, we went to the dollar show, but it was still really good! We saw Robin Hood, which I didn't expect to like but ended up loving. We might just have to buy that one when it comes on video. Matt really enjoyed it too! We got home around 9:30 and Tyler had given Kel her bath and gotten her to bed. He did a really great job. And she loves him, which makes it much easier to leave her with him.
The forth was Sunday, of course, but we did do one thing exciting! We went over to Spencer and Gaby's and saw Andrew. Matt hadn't seen him yet. It is so fun to see cousins come and then grow. I am so glad that Keldrie has lots of fun cousins.
That takes us to Monday, the day of the real Independence Day celebrations. We went swimming at my mom's friend's pool. Then after Kel had a nap, it was off to Grandma Nicholas's for a bbq! Poor Matt had to work until after 7, so he missed most of the festivities.

Oh yeah, that is three brand new babies! At least we didn't have to fight over who got to hold them!

Well there is the buffet table and my Grandpa at the grill. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, my Grandpa is always there at the grill making yummy hamburgers and hot dogs. Wouldn't be the 4th of July without it!

Here are a group of my 2nd cousins. Lilee, Noah, and Haylee. The kids all get to eat on the grass and save the chairs for the grown ups. I'm a grown up now, and I still enjoy getting to sit in the chairs. It has only been a few years.

Here is Kel with my Dad. The "uncles" tend to always stay in the kitchen. In the AC and close to the dessert. They aren't stupid, that's for sure!

The top picture is my mom and aunt Jacki, and here we have little Ty drinking his mom's Dr Pepper. What ya going to do?
After all of that, we were off to Grandma and Grandpa Smith's bbq!

Okay, the glare is pretty bad, but here is Ryan and Jacob! Jacob's and Katelynn's outfits were absolutely adorable!

Again, not such a great picture! I'm working on it, okay? But her facial expression is just too fun to leave out!

What would the world be without Grandpa's?

And then Matt showed up just in enough time to get a hamburger and play out in the yard for about 20 minutes before it was time to go home and put Kel to bed.

Hope everyone else had a great time too! We just have two weeks to recover before Pioneer Day!

Thanks again for yesterday you guys were so very sweet to take the kids around on rides so we could have a minute to ride ourselves.
