Well, it is now November 1st! I already checked, and none of my stations are playing Christmas music yet.
I might need to dust off my CDs.
That's right, I'm one of those people.
I just love Christmas and all the love and joy people have. But before I get carried away, lets talk about Halloween!
A few days ago, my mom and I decided to have a photo shoot in her backyard with all her leaves. We have been talking about doing it all Fall, but never made any concrete plans. So this is how we ended up!
And this is how Russell really felt about all these pictures!
That brings us to Halloween! Sometime last week I twisted my ankle, and since I never stopped to take care of it, by Halloween morning, I was really hurting. This was the first year that Matt would be home to go trick-or-treating with the kids. Can you believe that? This was Keldrie's 5th Halloween but Matt had never been able to go with us. I really didn't want to just stay home and baby my ankle. Matt came up with the solution. I iced my ankle all day while Matt chased the kids, took some medicine and then we hit about 15 houses before I had to call it a night.
Then, since it wasn't even 6 o'clock yet, we headed to Keldrie's favorite pizza place, Pizza Pie Cafe. It was such a nice way to still celebrate! I think it might have to become a tradition!
