I have just so many pictures of this Easter, I don't think I'll tell you about much, just show you the pictures!
The Saturday before, Elaine invited us over to dye eggs.
Keldrie had a blast!
After a hunt at home and then church, we went to my Aunt Jacki's house for lunch and another hunt. It was only Keldrie, Averie, and Brynlie but they had lots of fun!
Once things were finished there, we went over to the Smith's. I was given the assignment of making the deviled eggs. Pretty good, right? And when I say "make" I mean smash the yokes, add the other stuff and then put them back into the egg whites. The hard part of boiling, peeling, and de-yoking had already been done.
Julia has been so in love with Russell and on Easter, Lance wanted to see him too. Here is the two of them feeding him together.
After dinner, Elaine took the kids into her front room and showed them pictures talking about the life of Christ. She talked about each picture, teaching them in a very simple way about Christ's Atonement and Resurrection.
At the end, she gave each child a picture of Christ with a child who looked similar to them. On the back of the picture was a short note from a Grandma to her grandchildren reminding them about Easter and the true importance of it.
Once we had been reminded of all that, we headed outside for an Easter egg hunt!
This is serious business! These kids know how to do it! And look at Elaine's beautiful tulips behind Julia. Talk about pretty!
Keldrie with her spoils. It was a good day and everyone had a blast!
Okay, I've now done three posts in the last 9 hours or so, so if there are lots of grammar errors, I'm sorry, but I'm all caught up now! Russell turns 4 months old on Saturday. It's going too fast!
It was so good to see you guys yesterday and catch up it feels like it had been awhile! I hope you got Kel's shirt clean, I have had to Zout K's pink one three times now. Thankfully I think I saved it, those girls!!
