So much to say!

I have so much to say about everything we have done for the past week or so! I have been putting this post off since Monday morning because I have misplaced my USB cord to my camera and I have lots of pictures to share. Oh well.

Well, we have been sick, but we are almost over it. Russell and I have the very end of the cough and Keldrie and Matt are both back to normal. It was something nasty, that's for sure. I really worried about little Russell's lungs since he is so tiny and new. I am very glad I decided to nurse him, since it gives him some added protection against illness.

Matt and I made it to The Hunger Games even though we were sick. And it did not disappoint! Holy Smokes! Loved it! Such a great movie and an even better book. Amazing! Plus we ate a huge amount of popcorn.

We didn't eat very great this last week because I was too tired to cook and so was Matt. So we ate lots of fast food instead. Now we are trying to get back to eating cheaper and healthier. Man does it feel good to be back to our normal eating.

This weekend was General Conference and it was incredible! Tons of wonderful information and thanks to my calling as the Teaching for our Times teacher in Relief Society, I'll be studying all those talks for the next 6 months.

As always, when the Priesthood session comes along, my mother-in-law invites us and our kids over to watch a movie and have dinner. Only two of us ended up making it this time, but that was still 5 and 1/2 kids since Gaby is currently pregnant with #4. (Another boy!) It was a wonderful time. Julia, Gaby's oldest, is so in love with Russell. She held him for a long time and just likes to look at him. She is such a sweetheart.

The next Sunday we had dinner there again, and this time it was Jenny and Eric and their kids too.  Lance was giving Russell some face time too. It was too cute. I love that all these cousins are so close. Cousins really make the best friends.

Who else is loving this warm, sunny weather? I just had to get out for a walk today, the sun was calling. Keldrie loves to be outside too and loves a good walk.

I am so happy it is April! Looking forward to celebrating the Resurrection and we might be getting a visit from the Easter Bunny on Sunday morning ,too!

  1. I didn't know you were the teaching of our times teacher in RS, me too! You probably don't get as stressed about it as I do though!

Wasn't today just lovely I was actually hot outside, maybe it just feels that way when you are not used to it. But boy I had to take off a layer or two today!
