November is here!

November is always an interesting month in Utah.  Snow, rain, sun, wet, you never know what any given day will end up being like. But it is also such a fun month. You can begin the Christmas shopping! Then you have Thanksgiving to look forward to all month. Sweaters are out and ready to be worn, don't run out of hot chocolate, and it is boot weather!

My mom was able to go visit my older sister and her family in Arizona last week and I was my mom's ride to and from the airport. Of course I totally spaced taking her and so we made a made dash to airport, but she did make her flight. I did much better when it came to picking her up. My sister Chelsea came with us and we enjoyed the car ride. It started to snow on our way to go get her, but since we were a bit early, we were able to take Legacy Highway and go nice and slow. Once we got her back home, I made some hot chocolate for everybody.

You can't see it in this picture, but the cup Keldrie is using is something that my sisters and I used to fight over. It has a bear on the front of it that says "little dipper." There used to be a bigger one that said "big dipper" but Nicole and I broke that one while fighting over it when we were little.

My mom came home bearing gifts. The first gift was writing activity book for Keldrie that helps her practice her letters and numbers. It just has a dry erase marker, so you can re-use it lots of time. The other present was this:

Hand-me-downs for Russell! Lots and lots of clothes! I am pretty excited about these. Now I wish I had  the dresser we bought him put together so I could put them all away. But I can't build it by myself and Matt is swamped with homework, so I will just have to be patient!

Here is just one last picture to leave you with. Keldrie thinks that since there is snow on the ground, she needs to wear her snow boots, gloves, and hat anytime we go out. So this is how she looks:

It's really a shame you can't see the gloves, because it really pulls the whole outfit together.

Have a happy week everybody!

  2. Oh that last picture of Kel is so her! Last night as we were leaving and you guys were walking out Eric and I both laughed at the same time that little Kel is such a funny duck. I now it probable makes you crazy but I get the biggest kick out of that temper of her's, her shrill scream just kills me. Love her to pieces!

Love hand me downs they are the best! My sister supplies me with half of Katelynn's clothes, I just adore it. Have fun going through that stack of fun stuff, the best part of getting ready for a baby is organizing all of those little clothes. If you need some help call me, maybe between the two of us we could figure out that dresser!
