A fantastic Mother's Day

I am a bit of a freak when it comes to present buying and giving. Matt didn't know what he was in for when he married me. I love to give real personal and useful gifts.  Let's just say I had bought almost all my Mother's day presents by Easter. Sure, some hadn't shipped yet, but I had bought them. Anyway, after the long build up, Matt had to make sure he didn't disappoint on Mother's Day.

Luckily for him, we had gone to Park City and so I had picked out my own present, which Keldrie is modeling for us here:
I know you can't see them that well in this picture, but just know that they are from the Fossil Outlet Store and are the most expensive pair of sunglasses I have ever owned.

Besides the sunglasses, we also purchased something we were in sore need of, a new vacuum! We researched online for a few days and ended up with a Shark Uplift. I could seriously do the next infomercial they decided to do on this thing. It is purple, it is super light and it swerves like a Dyson Ball. Amazing!

I am very impressed by this vacuum. It makes the carpet look so much better than the last one we had. This thing has serious sucking power and I have even started vacuuming in lines like our Grandma's do. It just looks so nice. I've been letting Keldrie eat in front of the TV so I can vacuum up after her. Yup, I'm in love!

As for the actual morning of Mother's Day, Matt let me sleep in and took care of Keldrie. When he did finally come wake me up, he had this!

Not bad, huh? Breakfast in bed, such a cliche, such a wonderful surprise! Well we had a wonderful Mother's Day. Now if only the rain will stop, we can actually enjoy the spring. On the bright side, the mountains have been an amazing color of green the last few days. Not that I've taken a picture, but they sure do look happy for the rain. Hope you all had a great Mother's Day as well.
