Well, I got a delicious burger and then went to the mall and spent some money on myself! I really enjoyed it and it felt good to stretch my legs. Matt had to work on my birthday, but on Saturday he got off around 11 or so and so we headed down to South Salt Lake. Our first stop was Ikea. We found some cool gadgets and some dinnerware for Keldrie. I bought her some "big girl" glasses that are really small but are open tops. I've been letting her practice with them, but when I give her one with her meals, she usually ends up putting some of her food in her drink and then drinking out of it. It is pretty gross, but I just try and look away. Our second stop was The Cheesecake Factory. It was sooooo Good!
Matt and I both enjoyed a salad. Funny, huh? But that is what we both wanted and we had to save room for CHEESECAKE!
Isn't it beautiful? It was delicious, I'll tell you that. We headed home and picked up Keldrie from my mom and then we went home and vegged out on the TV. It was a good birthday celebration! We are just loving life as much as possible. The only problem we've really got going is that we can't seem to be able to figure out what is wrong with my thyroid. I had an ultrasound on it yesterday and should be hearing from my doctor tomorrow. Let's hope that they can just see what is wrong. I've stopped caring about what is could be and just hope he can call and say, "you have disease X and we will take care of it by performing procedure Y and taking medicine Z." But I guess I am learning patience...whatever. (PS, I didn't lose any weight in the last 5 days or so. I'm still trying to figure out why..... :D )
I didn't know you just had a birthday, I am sorry I missed it! I am so glad you had a great day. Do you know I have never been to the Cheesecake factory, but that looks delecious!
